Complementary pediatric specialties with attorney-facing relevance

The firm is built to give counsel direct access to pediatric physician judgment rather than a generic intake layer.

Co-Founder

Adam Broussard, MD

Dual board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology

Dr. Broussard is fellowship-trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and completed his Anesthesiology residency and medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center.

He serves as a pediatric anesthesiologist at Children's Hospital New Orleans and has held academic appointments at LSU Health and Tulane School of Medicine. He previously served at the University of Oklahoma, including as Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship Program Director.

His attorney-facing work includes pediatric airway management, anesthesia complications, sedation safety, regional anesthesia issues, perioperative standard of care, PACU events, and medication dosing errors in children.

Co-Founder

Ayush Gupta, MD

Dual board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Dr. Gupta is a fellowship-trained pediatric emergency medicine physician with an active consulting focus in matters involving delayed diagnosis, triage, trauma, sepsis, resuscitation, acute pediatric illness, and non-accidental trauma.

His attorney-facing work centers on pediatric emergency department standard of care, high-acuity clinical decision-making, child-abuse recognition, and the early clinical events that often shape liability and causation disputes.

He also contributes to the broader future-care and damages model by helping translate acute pediatric injury and emergency presentation issues into a defensible long-term clinical framework.

Shared professional focus

Why this team is different

PMLP is physician-led from the start. Attorneys are not beginning with a generic non-clinical intake layer. The model is built to identify the right pediatric perspective early, clarify the real medical questions, and support serious matters with clinically grounded judgment.

Expert witness credibility with a broader pediatric damages platform

Trust anchor

Rare pediatric physician expertise in anesthesiology and emergency medicine provides the credibility wedge for serious attorney-facing work.

Broader application

That physician foundation also supports future medical needs review, life care planning coordination, multidisciplinary damages work, and rebuttal analysis in catastrophic pediatric injury matters.
